Base Crocotile3d Template

What's it for?

When you want to block out your shapes in Crocotile3d but haven't decided on your textures yet. You might want (to-replace-later) placeholder textures to keep the workflow going. This is a kit to help answer that.

• Crocotile3d file
• checkered placeholder textures - 9 color mixes, 4 size types

• About the texture:
  • square sizes are 1x1, 2x2, 4x4, 8x8
  • Palette: res64 by KerrieLake

• About the C3D file:
  • Atlas tileset is in the default "Wrapping: Clamp to Edge / Decal mode: off" setting
  • All other tilesets is in "Wrapping: Repeat / Decal mode: on" setting
    • With this setting, the texture is prompt for covering surfaces larger than it's tile size with the same Texel density.

Side-note: It's faster to work with the method in the first tutorial above. 2nd tutorial is nice to know.

What to download?

• Just want to DL the template with the  texture/tile set? DL base-crocotile3d-template.crocotile
  
• Just want to DL the texture/tile set image? DL placeholder-tiles-texture-4-sizes.png
  
• DL both the C3D file and the image at the same time? DL the .RAR or the .ZIP file.

Will I update this? - If there is strong demand for it, for sure!

• You can use assets for commercial and non-commercial purposes.
• You can use the assets till the end of time.
• You can use the assets on any number of projects.
• You CANNOT resell or redistribute these assets (modified or raw) as your own.
  • (This is basically really the BIGGEST NO!)
• You cannot make these assets (modified or raw) available for use to the end user of your project.
  • e.g. game/app, education, website, etc.
    • A project that uses the asset (or part of the asset) as a graphical object in any manner is allowed.
    • A project where the end users will be able to save/export and/or access/edit the raw/modified version of the asset itself is NOT allowed.
• You cannot use the assets on printed media of any form.
  • e.g. paper, t-shirts, mugs, canvas, wood etc.
• Credit is not required but EXTREMELY appreciated. In fact, I will try to keep up & make a link back to your project in this asset store and my socials.
  • Here's a google form so i could keep track of you guys. This will help keep my end of the bargain. :)
• If you choose to give me credit, you can do it in any manner or form inside the project upon use of any one or more of the purchased assets.
